RECESSION PROOF MY ASS

How many of you have heard them tell you that selling this (Organo Gold) coffee will prevent you from dealing with the burden of the recession? The only thing selling in this recession is liquor and Starbucks. No one...I mean NO ONE is checking for Organo Gold products. I see so many desperate, unemployed independent business owners standing at every bus stop, mall entrance and community expo trying to solicit those with good sense into being a part of their 'money making coffee team'.

So tell me who is still holdiing and who is considering folding?

I think you're being a little extreme with your comment.
I am very close friend of John Sachtouras, number 2 in OG and number 26 in the world (http://www.businessforhome.org)
Maybe you're right, he is not an employee, but that does not mean he is unemployed. He's a very hard worker, He is a hard worker and deserves everything he has won.

Ignorance is too expensive. You'd have to keep you away from it.

Note: I'm not an Organo Gold marketer.

  2. You are right absolutely right! Organo Gold is a mess of false promises. The only thing that holds true it that the last people to join when they go out of business will be stuck holding the phone bills.

I don't care what you call this scam it's a scam. People with good common sense will realize this. They pray off of establishing a friendship with the buyer and convincing them that they should persuade their REAL friends and family to invest in the company. By this method they will get money from their friends for selling them a dream to buy into the dream of making income with this product. Where I'm from in Brooklyn we call people who prey on their friends LEECHES! WAKE UP!

If your poor, and your friend is poor, and his friend is poor, how are you going to generate a higher income if you guys are just daisy chaining the same poor money? You can't! More people equals more spending, equaling more products sold. The objective they set up is for you guys to have your friends and family solicit Organo Gold to the people that are their friend that you DON"T KNOW to make money. It just never happens that way because the people you don't know don't want to invest in products that they don't know about. If they do 9 out of 10 they won't invest in them through you because someone they know has already tried to sell them it.

The ones that are successful are so from being hard core salesmen. They are the type of people that are not intimidated to invade a persons personal space and time to get the product they are selling into a customers hand. Sort of like the drug pushers in NYC in the 80's. Where a polite no thank you means come back and see me when I'm broke and desperate.

My advice is to be inventive and come up with something NEW to sell that you can produce or manufacture for 100% income return. You can't make your dreams come true trying to sell someone else dream.

You will be called crazy but that is part of success, if you really want your dream come true you have to INVEST time and money it is IMPOSSIBLE to get rich without any hard work, poor minded people think that simply joining OG is going to make you rich or selling coffee makes you rich. No you are wrong! You have to learn, find what you want and become a LEADER. I find it unfortunate for those people who say this don't work buy really its your lack of leadership. Im done.

I can relate to the many issues that happen in MLM's. At Amero Biz Ops we are training individuals in commodities and overseas shipping containers agents for GlobusM. Coffee is the 2nd most traded commodity globally and with the poor economic issues in the US we teach individuals to create income streams from many countries. Now for most of you this is not possible because you have not been exposed and trained properly. WE represent several commodities we use to train our students , for coffee we have choose the gihopkins.organogold.
We have spent several months checking into the company and leaders, the many products from organo derma and all GOLD. WE flew to corporate and faced the leaders in the eyes, asked the important questions, background checks, product QC standards and all excellent. We would invite individuals to get into any global commodity distribution as it allows you to travel and write it all off on your taxes. Do what corporations do and place your money in different countries just in case the US goes under? Yes many use these scam ads to get leads to grow their business. I know thousands that 200-500 a month would help out. Only 3-5% of people make the big money in MLM's just like ever over business, so gets your facts correct as to the requirements to make any business work, it takes years of effort to build a good income. At GlobusM we train students for 4 years before they are ready to work independently. That way more reach their goals. Good luck, sorry it did not work for you.

OrGano Gold....IT'S COFFEE with Ganoderma – an ancient Chinese herb that has been used for more than 4,000 years to enhance wellness. It's in many medications we take today! (Google it)

Your blowing up with a negative vibe and I understand...but for me, after a few months of getting my feet wet, I am doing wonderful! I don't have a family so it's a little easier for me to work my money but guess what, I just paid my car off. I had 2 years left on my loan. Now I am about to pay off my student loans. I have my college degree and can't even get a job! So OrGano Gold is my job and I enjoy it!

This is a business. If it's not for you, then it's not for you. We try to make everyone in this business successful, not just individually. We're a family. And we don't want to see anyone fail. I wish you (or your friend if this is the case) had a team that really could've helped you out. Maybe you should check out a meeting that may be in your area. http://organogold.com/events.asp Sometimes, you just need to see it!

When I go on vacation's I take the coffee, my business cards and product information on exactly what this is and I simply give out samples. I don't bombard the future clients or buyers. They can then call or email for any questions.

It's a healthier way to drink coffee.

THANK YOU ORGANO GOLD FOR SAVING MY LIFE (well, Jesus did that 1st....lol)

Hope you have a blessed week!

  5. Anonymous8/18/2011

This blog is actually attracting more negative attention. It's causing people to present biased viewpoints primarily based on their experience with Organo Gold. For one to receive a sound opinion, they must research what is NOT said by members (and their supporters)of the company, meaning that they would have to overlook a lot of reviews because most are made by these two types of people. Do intense research.

One must observe successful business models, and see how they are ran. Also research Organo Gold's business model, then compare and contrast. Pay close attention to the compensation plan. I would prefer reading it from their website or literature.

One must know what makes a business successful and basic economic principles such as market saturation, penetration, supply and demand, etc.

Getting reviews from people who are a member of Organo Gold or are close friends with and support a member of Organo Gold will place one at a disposition. Objective research is necessary to identify the pros and cons that exist in any business.

People are so simple minded {don't take it personal}.I've been with the company since October of 2011 and have paid off alot of bills, so words like this only motivate me to reach my dreams. I see you must not have any. And secondly i just returned from Dalls,Texas where their were over 7000 people at the Organo Gold event, some one has to be making money somewhere. Stop being so negative and do some real research,www.ogbusiness.com ,oh and another thing to leave you with.TAKE OFF OF THAT BROKE HAT YOU ARE WEARING AND PUT ON A BUSINESS HAT. this company is real so it saddens me to see we still have so many CRABS in the barrel.

  10. I don't understand why not simply be a distributer and make money selling the coffee vs. trying to recruit every person that buys the coffee to become a distributor. Isn't the objective to sell coffee and make money on sales. I believe I could make more money selling the coffee than recruiting people to sell the coffee. Besides, it shouldn't cost me money to sell Organo Gold coffee. Why do I have to pay Organo Gold to sell their coffee. It's BS.

What are you sayin? When you sell any product you eventually get enough success to where you would have to hire help or open an office /shop/store, what have you. So, ask yourself is that not the same as hiring some one in this unemployed economy? Hope, is the power of Faith, and it is Faith that moves mountains. Give yourself and others an opportunity to change the state of this economy by stepping up and making what seems impossible, possible. Can't find a job? Then lets make them together so we can all eat.

97% of people are not successful business owners. Organo Gold encourages it distributors to grow personally while building a business. I have seen people improve there lives personally, financially, and in their health. I hope those who read this blog can look at themselves in the mirror ad say that I am someone people want to follow. I am sure the people who said Google, Facebook, Starbucks, Amazon, etc. would not work and you should not invest.

People in organo gold disgust me. I'm an 18 year old girl who has personally seen how this scam of a business has torn my family apart. For one they brainwash you to think that this business is the ONLY way you can make money in this economy. They tell you that this is a good business because "you get to work from home to spend more time with your family" this is absolute bullshit! Ever since my mom has started this she has been convinced to quit her job which was the main income of our family. She has now spent less te then she has ever spent with our family before. She chooses OG meetings over family events. She claims that we have to make a lot of sacrifices to support her business but before we ne'er had to sacrifice anything. She literally went from working for a top American corporate business to degrading herself to a scam. Recently, this organo gold had a huge meeting in Tracy,ca where they talking about their "business" and the top people was talking about his maserati that he recently just bought. Bragging about it basically giving hope to other people that they could have one to. However you look at the rest of the parking lot and look at people's cars that have been in the business or months even years and they are no where near it! The only way you would eer get it is of you were there fr the beginning. This OG shit isn't even gourmet coffee. You want to know what it is? Instant coffee and ganederma. Instant coffee? Basically foldgers. Which taste a lot better than the crap they sell. They tell you that a packet is a dollar in a box of 30. But they give out about 10 packet samples a day. You give out more samples than making money.

So basically too all the people in this business you are all low life's. How can you tell people they can spend more time with your family if you take them away everyday to a meeting. How can you preach at a meeting that "people with jobs don't have goals"?! Seriously?! This whole business is a definition of a CULT. Brainwash and all. I feel bad for the poor suckers that get scammed into this. My mother being one of them. It's even sadder that she never even notices.

Here's my story. My boyfriend joined Organo Gold in July. I declined to join with him because as far as I was concerned, it was a scam, nothing more than a pyramid scheme that was designed to fail. So I sat back and waited for things to go wrong and for him to lose his money.... He went to the training and meetings and got the support... at first things were going slow and he began doubting himself but he stuck it out and now he will be making at least $5000 by next month and hell be able to pay the balance on his tuition. He works hard recruits and attends his meetings every week and he is only 19. Now does this mean I'll be joining? ....No, I know this business is not for me, I do not have the patience, nor the time or that marketing skill. For those who failed....the question is why did you fail? and why are other people successful?

I look at it like this.....many people open businesses to make money some fail and some succeed. So because you fail the entire business world is bad? Get rich quick schemes don't work for everyone and like my boyfriend said to me and I to him....its a high risk game... which I am not willing to play. yet he is playing and reaping the benefits.

Once again I'm not advocating for the company nor against it. But some of the comments I have been seeing of people who have failed remind me of a fable I heard from my mother... about the fox n the grapes ... lol... the fox said the grapes must be sour just because he couldn't reach them. Some of you sound like that fox who couldn't get to the grapes, so now you are trying to tell people that Organo Gold is 'sour' lol. Like me maybe you should stick to what you can handle, if your not a person with good marketing skills ...this is not for you.

To the anonymous poster above me. Like you stated this is a "pyramid" scam. That alone lets you answer your own questions that you asked. In this type of company, the persons on top, depend on the persons at the bottom going BROKE! to make their money. Your boyfriend's "marketing" skills are nothing but master manipulation skills that he learned at those cult bashes also known as SUPER SATURDAY trainings. For get about it being a "high risk" game. You have to have a high level of LOW MORALS to be involved in an MLM. I question the character of any person who joins an MLM. You should too. As soon as you start disagreeing with him, and the longer you decide to stay out of the business, the more likely that you will be placed on the chopping block and be x-ed out as the girlfriend. They will basically start brainwashing him against you since you havent bought into the business...

I here this way too often.. The comparison is not even close. Standard business may have a hierarchy, but
the difference is that they are not out trying to recruit others to sell their products, rather than just get them to buy their products or services for the price they are offering. They are paying their employees for their work and also paying all the other employee's expenses. Where as an MLM is getting everyone to try to recruit two or more of their friends, family or others to do the same. Now obviously the country or world is a really large place, but if you just put it on a small scale, you can see that the closer you get to the bottom, the closer you get to running out of opportunity. I personally think it is a terrible demonstration when I heard in some of OG's meetings, they have a couple people in the front stand up, turn and pick two to stand up and do the same. NOW this should show most of the people their how bad the idea is. You would think that people would be able to see that they can see the back of the room and they are running out of prospects, but everyone is so hyped up on the idea they are going to get rich. Then most business have a pretty well organized compensation plan. If it a regular job you get paid what they say you're going to get paid and there is no complex crap compensation plan. If you sell a product for most companies you don't pay for the products you are selling for them and they pay you commission and bonuses on all the volume of what you sell and your team if you are a lead of some kind.
They don't tell you oh, you're going to get paid a percent only on the lesser volume side and then only a percent of that volume call bv or pv. i.e. You sell a box of coffee for $30 and you only get a commission on about $24 of that. So you don't even get the commission on the full price you sold it for. Then when they pay you, they take a fee out for processing your payment. They fee you to death.

      Delete
    3. Anonymous5/24/2012

      Continued:
You have to recruit, because most people would be hard pressed to sell enough product to make enough money to make a living. Figure if you took that $1300.00 Gold pack, because you want to make all you can and YOU DEFINATELY DON'T want to leave any MONEY on the table :) But let's say you sold every item in that box and made a 20% profit on it you would probably only net about $260.00, however you can't even figure that, because you had to give a good portion away as samples, plus you consumed a good portion, because as you are taught, you have to believe in and use the product yourself. and then by the time you figure in the actual cost of selling it, and your time involved you probably earned (-$$) per hour.
That is why I say 98% do not make it. They simply can't afford to. Most of the people that make it are the ones that are self supportive. The ones that can afford to pay for others to come into their down line and latterly spend thousands of dollars on the products themselves. Or as much as I really hate to say it.. Religious leaders sadly do pretty well only because the people in the church most always trust what the preacher says and believe in him to guide them. So they have great influence and unfortunately a lot of them have a background in sales as well. I am sure I will easily be miss quoted as incorrect and I promise I am no expert and I am not saying it can't be done. I am just saying unless you have lots of money, very supportive friends and family i.e. a spouse that will work and support you while you try to build your MLM empires, you are most likely not going to make it. Honestly I believe in the idea.. I just don't believe most companies truly make it possible for most people to make it. Try advertising an opportunity online. You will see that most of the calls you get are other people trying to get you into their opportunity :) Anyway, I almost never post in these things, but just get tired of people trying to compare an MLM pyramid to a standard business as a pyramid. It's not really the pyramid shape at the top that makes it a bad plan, but the bottom. Because when you reach the bottom, you run out. Another big difference between MLM and a regular job is this. If you sell someone a box of coffee and for whatever reason they get sick or have a bad reaction to it. Who do you think they are going to sue? Yep most likely YOU, the DISTRIBUTOR that sold it to them. Where if you actually worked for the company, the company would be sued and NOT YOU. Like others have said, do your research. If nothing else, sample some of the products, find out exactly how and how much you are going to get paid.

    5. Anonymous1/26/2013

Thank you!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates it when people say "All businesses are MLM". They're wrong, there's many big differences, as you pointed out. When someone says your boss, usually the owner of the company, makes more than you as proof it's rediculous. Of course he does, but when you work for his company he is taking all of the financial and legal risk, so he deserves the profits. Plus, if you truly owned a business like the MLMs like to tell you, there wouldn't be 100 other "business-owners" above you making commissions/bonuses off of YOUR sales. Real business-owners keep all the revenue for their sales. Even 1099 independent contractors keep 100% of the commission, the sales managers may be paid a bonus on their rep's production, but typically aren't paid a commission every time someone else makes a sale. But as a 1099 IC you also don't pay the company to sell or have to buy the products. I know, I've been a 1099 Independent Sales Rep, an employee W-2 Inside & Outside Sales Rep and Sales Manager, and only in MLM do the sales reps not only have to buy the product but have people above them get a commission directly on their sales. Real business-owners who do have to buy the product they sell, such as typical retailers, have 100% freedom over their businesses AND keep the profits. Franchises only pay licensing fees for the right to use a company's branding, products, and benefit from the company's advertising and marketing, but keep the profits outisde the fee and don't have other "business-owners" above them taking a cut or getting paid on their sales, the franchise keeps that money. So not only is it very different from a normal company where only certain employees (HR & Designated Managers) recruit rather than everyone in the company and the legal and financial risk is taken solely by the owner, but it's very different from traditional small-businesses and business opportunities. The other main difference between ALL of the above and an MLM is that in a traditional business, all employees work towards the goals of creating and then selling a product to end-user customers UNAFFILIATED with the company, while in an MLM their "IBO Distributors" ARE the customers. No normal company would try and recruit their customers to start a franchise or become an IC Sales Rep, but EVERY MLM tries to recruit EVERY customer because it's main customers ARE it's sales force. This is what males it Multi-Level; you end up with a series of successive levels of distributors selling to distributors who buy the product to sell to new distributors who buy the product to sell to new distributors. Some sales are to consumers, but the main goal is to create repeat sales to a never-ending chain of distributors who keep buying the product to sell to new distributors, repeated ad nauseum. A real business's goals are focuses on creating repeat sales through quality and consumption to unaffiliated customers. And it's sales-force, retailers(who can sell other products), wholesalers, and franchises can ALL make a good living by SELLING that product alone; they don't need to recruit because there is no incentive to, they don't get higher commissions, uni-level commissions, or additional bonuses.

To anonymous who responded to me, I never said that it was a scam.... I said in the beginning in 'my opinion' i thought it was a scam. You refer to his marketing skills as "manipulation skills"... You need to wake up it is the way of life... It it is what makes the rich richer and the poor poorer ... it is this same manipulation that makes the people living in Hollywood survive or the makers of apple for example... see your a victim of brainwashing yourself we all are, we are brainwashed to feel that we must buy the newest products, that dying our hair makes us look better and the list goes on and on. We are brainwashed to think that living the rich and fabulous life is the way to go and we want the quickest and easiest way to get there. It is like a game a game of high stakes poker... you either win big or lose big....
People need to take responsibility for themselves and stop blaming others nobody forces anyone to gamble, nobody forces anyone to join Organo Gold - It is simply peoples GREED and "Get rich quick Attitude." And hey Im not judging anyone people come from varying circumstances and if they feel that this will help them along - then hey do it because when it comes down to it "Its their CHOICE!" We celebrate them if they succeed and call them dumb F#@k if they fail because it is a gamble. hence the fable of the sour grapes. Ohh yes my boyfriend tried to convince me but once again I realized its a risk, its a GAMBLE, that I don't want to take. If people can't see that its a risk and that they should make sure they get in at the top then that's on them - " Its called LACK of COMMON SENSE" or just plain old DUMB
I'll be graduating this December and will move on to my masters...so regarding being on the chopping block HaHa my boyfriend knows my answer if it comes to that --- "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." I'll make my money from the College Education that I got.

I do not sell either of them. I am unfortunately a silver member of OG. I DO NOT and WILL NOT work it.

Serenigy has a much better product. A much better line of products and definately a MUCH BETTER COMPENSATION plan. AND NO I AM NOT A DISTRIBUTOR for them either.

So again, Do your research before jumping into something like I did. I could not get a hold of the company to save my life and no other reps wanted to by my 500$ worth of absolutely unopend product for even a huge discount.

I was told that it didn't make since when they make money on what they buy directly from the company to help their volume. Now what kind of smart business since does that make?

If nothing else they had cheaper samples to give out.

To the 18yr old girl: Sounds like you just miss your mom! Grow up... Show her some support! How you refer to your mom, who is one of those "suckers, low life, Organo Gold Cult members" says quite a bit about your character! I'm not sorry your mom joined into a business opportunity that may or may not work out for her... Im sorry she has an 18yr old daughter who speaks of morals and refers to her own mom in such a nasty manner! I have been with Organo Gold for 1 month and all i RISKED was $550.. However in my first month i have made $2500.00 I haven't been at meetings i've been working. I'm home by 5 everyday, if i chose to go to work. I have more time for my family because no one is putting me on THERE time clock. Your mom chose to risk her money and time... she choses to go to meetings... n if you live at home with her... id want to be anywhere but home too. Have some respect for your mom.. Whether she is successful or not... SHE'S YOUR MOTHER!!!

To the anonymous person, who responded to the anonymous person who responded to you (this could get confusing): You stated your "opinion" about OG being a scam and I was basically saying you are RIGHT! Geesh. Don't try to play semantics games with me, sweetheart. I am WIDE awake, but if you think that people should manipulate others because "it's the way of life", then you are just as ridiculous, low class, and with low morality just like most people who are in this MLM.

You said in your latest post that most people are brainwashed to believe this or that. WEAK-MINDED individuals are brainwashed! Maybe YOU have been brainwashed to think that being rich makes you happy, but there are too many examples of rich people killing themselves because you know the whole cliché holds true: money doesn't buy happiness.

If you knew me, you’d know that I am the very LAST person to keep up with the “newest products”. I don’t look to Hollywood stars as examples, and I don’t own one apple product to date! I do not chemically alter my hair; my tresses look great just the way God made them. It’s truly your own personal problem if you don’t feel the same way about what’s growing from your scalp.

I am all for education, however, stating that you are in college and moving towards your master’s degree means what to me? Why did you feel the need to mention that? I find it hard to believe that a college educated woman would even deal with a man who belonged to a pyramid scheme. Tell your man to go to college and make money from his “college education” like you plan to do.

What bothers me is that you may think that just because your boyfriend (and others) is making money from this MLM, that it is not a scam. People make money off of scams all the time…that doesn’t mean they are legit. Look a Bernie Maddof, he ran a successful ponzi scheme for a very long time, that doesn’t mean it was honest. It was manipulative, and the end result of his manipulation has him behind bars for life. Get it???

FYI: When you want to say “You are” the contraction is “you’re”…NOT “your”, Miss “Graduating-in-December”.

I'll sign as: ApricotMoon (to reduce all the anonymous confusion).

I really feel sorry for the young lady who seemed to have lost her Mom to OG. Lets look at it from this perspective, Maybe if you and your family had goined your mother to accomplish a common goal, the result would have been differant. Any business venture would have taken up much of your mom's time in the begining, not just OG! Thats what it takes to become successful in any business. And honestly the real brain wash is thinking that working for anybody else other than yourself will make you financially free.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anonymous9/18/2011

To Apricot Moon.... My dear I'm not playing any semantic games with you, I was clarifying what I said above. I do not believe that people should be manipulated If I did I would have jumped on the Organo Gold train. Once again responsibility falls on those who makes the choice ... they made the choice to join such an organization and as such they should accept the consequences. It has nothing to do with being weak minded. What people see is being able to make a large sum of money in a short space of time - that is what you call greed. I chose not to join because I saw the risks. I have not been brainwashed either I do not believe in get rich quick schemes.

With regards to stating that I am in college, I was simply replying to your statement that my boyfriend might dump me because I wasn't on the Organo Gold train, my statement simply means I do not depend on my boyfriend because I have a College education. Therefore if he chooses to dump me it does not make a difference.

I never said you owned apple products etc. It was just an example.

My boyfriend is going to college and from the funds that he received from OG he will be able to pay the balance on his tuition. You stated that you can't believe I'd be with someone who is in OG.... so I take it that you have detached yourself from you mom and completely ridiculed her about her decision to join OG. I'm in no position to judge anybody and therefore what they do with themselves and their time and their money is their business.

It all comes down to this...joining OG is a choice. Some people make that choice and lose and some people are successful. So if they lose their money they have no one to blame but themselves.

Haha FYI back at ya - This is not an English class. When I do my papers I make sure they are correct ... on a blog ... really! Who gives a hoot?

You need to give you mom some support and help her get back on her feet and get back to her "real job"

I'm the 18 year old that you guys are telling to support my mom. And no I won't this organo gold thing has not done anything to the family benefit wise. We have no money now. My parents are getting a divorce because of this. My brother cries at night because she's doesn't pay attention to him. As for me I could careless if she's spending time with me or at the house. I'm speaking for the sake of my little brother. I will never support this. And I don't have to. If she's my mother or not she knows I don't support this. She realizes that you either love the business or hate it. So don't tell me to grow up or that I'm at fault for posting my other post because you don't know the situation from the start. All my other family members and friends understand how she is and they try to talk her out of it but however she's fully invested it this. So don't be questioning my character because I called her a sucker. Obviously your in the business if your trying to bash at me about my morality when you don't know me our my situation. So don't tell me to grow up.

I have seen how being a part of Organo Gold brings people together. I have also seen how Organo Gold splits families & friends apart. Just accept that it is NOT the perfect company, and if the only defense someone has is to blame it on the individual who didn't make it far, then it's not the most respectable company either. Let me repeat that - I love the coffee! The coffee sells itself. As for my family life, I have dinner with my family, went hiking with my husband one weekend, to a college football game another weekend and yes I have attended at least 10 coffee mixers. My priorities are God 1st, Family 2nd, and Opportunity 3rd. Keeping those priorities will keep my faith healthy, my family healthy, and my bank account healthy. Okay, you are still with the negative blog posts about OG, but why?

To those of you who have ran into some pushy or rude reps, I apologize. I must say, however, that we are all not like that. I am a full-time student and a mother of two. I love Organo Gold. I can't help that some people don't give the business all they've got. There are complaint numbers if yo need to file a complaint.
If you don't know what the purpose of recruiting is then you should never be in network marketing in the first place.
If you think that you can't just sell coffee in this business and make money then you are wrong.
To anonymous or -JON, why do you laugh at "OG people"? We laugh at you. You are the one who constantly HIDES behind a computer trying to gain the attention that you perhaps didn't get growing up maybe?
Some of you have been listening to the wrong reps. That doesn't mean you shouldn't like the company, you just need to find you a better rep!I'm not trying to convince you, because I am going to enjoy every dime that I have been getting from this business. It's not just about the money, the coffee is healthy! You all don't see that though.

I think some of you people are funny! You are bitter, because it works out for some people and didn't work out for you or someone you know. All I can say is that you shouldn't look down on network marketing and people who are network marketers shouldn't look down on people who have jobs. It is a matter of preference. Every job requires recruiting....just not in the same way as network marketing and you are not getting paid, you are doing the paying.

  44. If you expect to be in business and have no upfront costs then you should just get a job. Anyone in business knows there are costs to establish and run a business. This is no different than you going to Sam's, buying Starbucks and selling it cup-by-cup -except that you'd need a much more expensive license to actually retail Starbucks.

Bottom line: selling and this approach to distribution is not for everyone. However the opportunity and proven success is evident and available.

Proven success for HOW many people? How many people have joined Organo Gold and actually made a decent earning (or ANY profit)? Note: I did not ask WHO joined and earned money, but HOW MANY... I know many reps will use themselves as examples, or start naming names, but that is not the question. People want statistics to see whether or not they are making a sound investment.

Other than that, folks are giving money to a company, and the top producers get paid #period, and they are the ones telling others they can earn just like them. Please, this is America, land of the pyramids (whether corporate, government, etc).

I'm in a "direct sell" business, and I've never heard some of the crazy claims and strategies these people push! Yes, in the business I am, there are bonuses for recruiting people, but recruiting people into the business is NOT the goal...selling the product is the goal! I do not share in anything anyone I recruit into the business sells, I simply get a one-time bonus. As a matter of fact, we are not allowed to make any kinds of claims about the kind of money one can make in the business, because they don't want someone who is a stay-at-home mom and can work her business hours every day to make false expectations to a person who can only work the business a few hours a week. Again, we sell the PRODUCT, not the business. I've been approached by OrganoGold people, and they very literally scare me! As for the samples I've been handed? The coffee is not all that...actually, it tastes terrible, in my humble opinion.

  48. WOW! Just doing some research on ALL aspects of the company when I came across THIS mess! Many on here are crabs in a barrel, others are plain unhappies who are down on life (could be a chemical imbalance - try some ganoderma - doesn't have to be from OG), others will follow a herd over the cliff if it just keeps moving in that direction. The question is: Which STEREOTYPE are YOU? Hey, let's suppose you were a human being instead of a stereotyped model of one, could you do all within your power to make yourself happy, take the higher road and challenge yourself to the higher advantage? Suppose you COULDN'T, would you then resort to name calling, debasing others characters, creating rifts in your family and desiring others to not strive for a better way just because you want to block your own?

Here in lies the difficulty of CONTENT of character...Personally, when I read blogs such as this, it's difficult to imagine all the people who write on them and are literally lying in wait for a poor schmuck to say ANYTHING positive so they can just beat the internet crap out of them through mean, hate filled, resentful words...let's me see how much mental illness there is in the world. Again - WOW

So! That brings me to say this about ANY opportunity in this broke down crap we call the Land of the Free - without opportunities such as the Organo Gold distributorships, many of our "free" thinking and acting citizens of what has been and can be again - this Great Country called America, wouldn't have the opportunity to work for themselves, guide their own lives, live their own dreams and find (and create) their own destinies...even if it means spending most of their day in meetings, pep rallies or phone conferences! It's their opportunity and their choice. Crabs in a barrel hate the thought of one tiny crab getting away. It's called lack of self identity. Do you know what characteristics and elements make you who you are? If your answer is, "my job", or even, "my affiliation with Organo Gold and my OG team", then you need to take time in getting to know the "true" you.

The issue most face is many don't know how to give of themselves and only want to reap the rewards of being given to. When such a condition of the mind is present a fight ensues because the one person amongst the many who wants to give in order to get is looked down upon. It's almost as if, the rest of the crabs are jealous, angry and made because just that one small action exposes their true nature of hoarding...emotion, the nature of wealth, gratitude, kindness, sharingness, fortune...and the most valuable element of time.

So those of you who can rise above the fray will have to grow thick skins and hard heads, resilient and forgiving hearts (Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do). Time is the great revealer of all truths. Nay sayers and haters hate this basic truth so they fill boards like these with all manner of vile and contemptuous mentality...just to waste your time and drag you back beneath the heavy dredges of the crabs...to be, become and exist just like them - in the most unhappiest of states!

  49. Now, whoa and be careful, not to join just the other side of this! Know thyself and to thyself be true! If you should join an organization, look at the merits and the downsides of joining. I am considering working with an Organo Gold team, but in sales (as that's where my time, talents and comfort exist) and am not being put on someone else's rat wheel to make me produce for them. I see a benefit beyond coffee on the side of health in the product. I want to tap into that. I will not waste one second of one hour of one day listening to a pep rally on the phone as my determination comes from within and my skill level and business background and knowledge do not permit it. Secondly, I do not have to be droned into being a drone. I call my team rep because I have questions and I don't allow them to man handle me into doing anything I don't want to create a sole benefit for that individual. Not interested.

Thirdly, always have a backup plan. Did you know (since most who are doing the business claim they do so for the benefit of selling the coffee to fam and friends in a network originated by their interest in the coffee or its health related benefits) that their or other ganoderma related products, coffees, etc. costing far less than OG? So, if you can be a successful or even just hobbiest type interested type, you can always find another source. As, outside of the network marketing aspect of it, it is the absolute benefit of having a real world product that works for what it model is set for(have tried it and was amazed at the immediate results "I" got, but I have a pretty healthy lifestyle and so believe my body was able to be more receptive, but who knows why the product worked so quickly for me - average reported time for obvious benefit is two weeks according to ganoderma and the OG websites(s)).

As for the taste, most coffee folks who enjoy coffee will have something to say pro or con, but I think the focus is being misplaced because it would not be at the top if it weren't for the ganoderma. Who cares what Starbucks (my fave capitalist inspired coffee, punctuated for heavy taste buds) is doing as I drink it for its therapeutic effect (see how surprised some of you are to find that, yes, coffee does have a therapeutic side). Starbucks is not chocked full of extracts using a heavily trafficked consumable such as coffee. That wasn't their business objective. It is OG's. They are not and do not pretend to be or even compete with Starbucks. Starbucks WILL have to compete with THEM (and other holistic companies touting the mix) if the trends continues to be successful. Then I'd worry about OG. Until then, don't see it happening because I still drink Starbucks AND the best thing is that those little packets of ganoderma infused instant mix, give my Grande-White-Chocolate-Mocha-Caramel-Sauce Mixed-X3-Shots-of-Expresso-On-the-Rocks-No-Whip a health kick boost! As, I might as well whip that in there too (flipping hair and walking away with a BIG cheesy GRIN)!

So sad the invader on the phone link above is such a hater. I'm not an OG rep, but know the condition of people who don't want others to be successful. I have bought into MLM's in the past(never stayed) and listened to other conference calls via their pinned phone links, but never have I heard anything of the sort as the recording above.

I thought the call was really good and the guy recording it was resentful there was not any outward negativity, just people listening to a beneficial support call for new reps or those thinking to join the business. So when he couldn't find issue his small mindedness egged him towards negativity. It's also pretty obvious he knows nothing about wellness platforms or Chinese medicine. He could use the same skill to know how to record and post such things to help others, but something tells me anarchy is more his thing.

I wish I knew half of what he does technologically! I'd market the heck out of such an opportunity. That's the disconnect he missed. Take what you have and enhance your personal abilities with shared visions and opportunities as who wants a hard, difficult, lonely life? As a single mother, I'd have been happy to find other income and a positive community to support my family with during my off season. It was ALWAYS a struggle even though I made very good money.

I tried other Network Marketing platforms but didn't like the cultish aspects of following their programs. If I do become a rep, I won't be following OG's all the time, but I have a whole different background than most. After listening to this guys entire recording I did not hear one example of misguidance (I've been in business for myself for 20 years +), one as he put it, "cult speak" or disrespectfulness towards his audience. Nothing, just a testimonial type call I actually found uplifting if one knew anything about owning one's own business and the challenges faced. So, really, egg is on your face as what did your mother bring into the world, but a dispassionate, disgruntled and unhappy introvert who can't even stand to hear others share their joy about the positives of life. In most dictionaries that's called a MORON. Look it up. Maybe, you can record you reading that out loud and post it on You Tube!

There are 7 different way to get paid in Organo Gold. Some people may choose to retail the products. But why limit yourself to only one stream of income? All corporations in America consist of a group of individuals/success team. They work like slaves to retire the CEO and his wife. What's wrong with working in MLM and teaching and empowering others to really take control of their lives? The systems that are in place can be replicated. Stop working like a hebrew slave and work towards a greater cause. Retire yourself and help others to do the same. FYI--95% of Americans retire dead broke. These are people who work 40 hours per week for an average of 40 years. America the land of opportunity? Doesn't sound like there's too much opportunity in the system that most of America is trapped in. Think outside of the box and you'll have success! = )

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganoderma

Ganoderma is a genus of polypore mushrooms which grow on wood and include about 80 species, many from tropical regions.[1] Because of their extensive use in traditional Asian medicines, and their potential in bioremediation, they are a very important genus economically. Ganoderma can be differentiated from other polypores because they have a double walled basidiospore. They are popularly referred to as shelf mushrooms or bracket mushrooms.

Ganoderma are wood-decaying fungi with a cosmopolitan distribution, and can grow on both coniferous and hardwood species. They are white-rot fungi, and have enzymes that allow them to break down wood components such as lignin and cellulose. There has been significant research interest in trying to harness the power of these wood-degrading enzymes for industrial applications such as biopulping[11] or bioremediation.[12][13][14]

I think that it's not a question if whether Ganoderma Lucidum is considered to be a King of Herbs. There are countless research and documentation to support this fact. The question is the legitiamcy of Organo Gold. For anyone who has come to these posts, you will definitely find people on oneside of the fence or the other based on their own personal experience and/or feelings. What's key is to DIG DEEPER. To ask those tough questions like, Show me where (outside of just your website) that your product uses 100% Certified Organic Ganoderma? WHERE IS THE CERTIFICATION? WHO DID THE CERFTICATION AND AUTHENTICITY TESTING?

The other key thing is to know what is the foundation or leaders in this company that I'm following. Do they and the company really stand for the same virtues that I have like TRUST, HONESY and VIRTUE...or is it just about "How much money I can make, regardless if there are some lies or deceptions?".

If you really want to find out how this company was started and the leaders in place, PLEASE PLEASE visit. WWW.ORGANOGOLDSCAM.ORG

There are many who might have already heard these tapes, but for may of us new people looking for an opportunity, PLEASE PLEASE Do yourself a favor and "Look before you Leap"

1st MLM's are like any other business, some make it others don't. people that join thinking thats it and sit around waiting to get paid well these are usually the ones that get out and go around crying and screaming SCAM! but they don't mention how they didn't make an effort to do their job to get paid. This is a fact about all mlm not just Organo Gold.

2nd the FDA doesn't associate itself with mlm companies but they do regulate products that enter the food consumable market. So yeah you are all rite the coffee is not FDA approved BUT it also has not pulled it out of the market like it did the first generation of dietary pill's herbalife started of with.

3rd this isn't a cult but its isn't strange to see people that has been able to free them self financially act grateful toward the product that got them there.

Finally Jay Noland was 3rd inline at Organo Gold. He gave organo gold bad press and now he is the ceo of his own "mushroom coffee" company. That to me sounds like greed and a plotted skim of itself.

your offered coffee, you pay for coffee, you get coffee.. no scam just coffee ;]

You are always able to give these great stories about some great people. Well I signed up a pastor and he signed up another pastor and both became Black Diamonds in 3 days.

OG is a scam and just because some people have major influence with a bunch of people doesn't mean it's a good business.

  68. Gosh, I am not an OG distributor, but do sell the coffee. I'm estatic about the results I get as someone whose consistently made over $100K annually for years! Selling is all I'm interested in at this time...mostly because I know what I'm doing -AND- when I first was interested in the coffee and said "I only want to sell and not distribute because I've a sick child". The up line/sponsor of my friend who introduced me pressured me and told me not to promote my friend's coffee (which was why I was selling and being paid) because it would cause me to loose those who could invest with me. I explained to her I have a biz degree and understand marketing schematics. Mattered not to her, she continued to press. When I had my first CJM (Coffee and Jazz Mixer), after all the other negative things she said and did, she sabotaged it by refusing to show the morning of the mixer AFTER guests had already arrived because my CJM promoted my spa business and I offered spa services (PROVIDED THE OG COFFEE MYSELF WHICH SHE DIDN'T KNOW I HAD). She said that she didn't want to be involved because I wasn't "following" the plan! Little does she, and a lot of zombie drones who can't think without MLM leadership (Think Maddoff and the like), know what she did is ILLEGAL! You can't tell, force, sabotage, monopolize...any biz (public or private), entrepreneurship, independent contractor, etc. into following ANYTHING and to do so is considered fraudulent, punishable by imprisonment, fines or both! Why? Because a number of charges can be levied against such individuals or businesses so doing, the most damaging is TAX EVASION, LOL! As telling a person in business for themselves (as all OG Distributors and non-distributors are) HOW, WHERE, WHEN and to WHAT EXTENT to run their business (Which the biz owner has to shoulder their own taxes for) is a privilege of an EMPLOYER (Who pays for the privilege of so doing through the shouldering of taxes on behalf of those they employ)!

I don't work for OG Gold, I simply middle man product from their company to people who I educate on the product (the Ganoderma) and who make it a CHOICE to purchase the product from me as I assure their knowledge of less costlier routes (such as the OG website)! I WILL take my time in making a choice of involvement as I've got the EDUCATED opportunity to know the difference and circumvent all the HYPE and BS! It's certainly not the product, people (I've personally witnessed amazing-don't-think-they're-typical-results from the coffee in my own medical wars), but the 'people' handling the product! You'll never find a perfect world, but you might want to do a little research before planting roots in a world. I can't say enough how happy I am I didn't join that Jim Jone's leadership (mad because I wouldn't drink the Koolaid, LMAO)!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Currently I'm still exhibiting for my friend, learning from his mistakes in the biz, selling my coffee, INTERVIEWING different teams to see if I like any of them (Haven't found the right "fit" yet. Mine is based on a real community and not being "on" like a damned light bulb - this is what happens when people just want your money, wanting you to just do what the hell they say or STFU! Works for some, just not me). I am getting to meet more people which has been nice, would like to join a team with like minded business minds as most on teams are working full time jobs.

My tactics are waaaaaaay over their heads. Spoken at a few meetings and I just get the "We envy you" treatment by the end of the gathering (They paid big bucks some of them. I've paid "zero". I have mad skills. They don't. Would you pay someone to make you sexy if you already knew you were, lol! I wouldn't, I'd just take the "sexy" and move to the next level. We all have to work, just not some funky Justifiable, Obligatory, Bullshit)!

I'm going to have to find a group of entrepreneurs as feeling comfortable in your group (since MLM's are based on team effort with highlights on the interlinking individuals: upline/downline) where you can build a downline/revenue generation based on skill set, relationships and interest are key.

As I looked around at MY particular needs I asked, "Why in heck deal with folks coming out of the world of jobs who can't even comprehend anymore than what their up line wants them to understand", going to help an entrepreneur like me (who thinks TOTALLY outside of the J.O.B box)? Just remember you have to withstand the pressure, put aside the fools and remember to get out of the opportunity exactly what YOU want! The way YOU want it! There is no gold standard up the path of success...no matter WHAT they say the initial start up cost is! Remember! You're agreement is to purchase COFFEE, the price of success is arbitrary and is truly "priceless", but costs and/or commitments are non-prohibitive.

Best advice: Do your research and don't believe the hype of puppetry. You're a human being and will and SHOULD have a right to ask ANY logical question and get a friggin' logical answer! Secondly, be sure to feel those around you who're supposedly a part of your TEAM AREN'T just in it for themselves (i.e. being greedy, wanting your 'yenom', just wanting you to make EVERYTHING easier for them, lol! Now don't be foolish in that vein - easy is as easy does).

Through whatever means, insure your leadership comfortably wants to see you succeed...in other words, deal with folks you like and who you feel comfortable being a part of...sadly this can take on any number of characteristics as my lead in story suggests - about the conniving rep I first met - that team is thriving. The rep didn't want me there because that made her work too hard (er, uhum...she actually told me that, lol)! Oh, well! Ho-hum, people do what they do! Some of it's wrong and sometimes it's just one or two bad apples. That's where your belief in self or, like me, it will just be a place where your most adventurous journey begins! After all, this is supposed to be part of A LIFESTYLE, NOT some listless JOB! Enjoy!

I'm just curious to know why you can't just be a disturbitor and focus on selling the coffee But insteed your recruiting the people you're selling the coffee to, to start buying the coffee to go into the same business you have your merchandise through. it doesn't make sense if your selling the coffee to your customer and turning around to try and get them to sell it also. doing that eventually you will lose your clientele. if that's the case it seems to me that is actually the people who own the coffee that is of making a profit in making money off your profit. because at the gold prices which is a little over $1300 who needs someone sellin the coffee. the company bring in more money recruiting with each recruit it can range anywhere from $240 to $1300. comparing that to the coffee at $34.00 a box, I see why they want new members instead of distributors. go figure! It is a pyramid, the top dog ceos" use the new members to buy the packet perferrably gold which technically you are used as a middle man then the middle man have no other choice but to drink or sell the coffee that they've purchased. well after said and done the money goes back to the top ceos and your left with a package you really can't distribute because your clientele/ customers are now members as well. This isnt about selling coffee. it's about selling the same business over and over again. Making millions of dollars in the process. Thats against the law, this is a sad triangle going on, its tricking people to buy a merchandise or a franchise that they will never own. the representatives presure you more into buying into the business than selling the coffee. It's a pyramid scam don't buy into it unless you're into recruiting more members for the company than coffee. the only way you can come on top is to sell the coffee and not getting tricked in what they want you to do which is recruiting members to buy into og's business!

    2. This is any business. It's a system. The ones at the top always make the most money. No matter what business it is. If you had your own business and could hire people to do it and therefore increase your own income by getting more done and having a higher income why not? The only ones making the money are those who have a system. The rest of us are just middle men.

Even though it is MLM or Not MLM business you still have to work hard. As a certified colon hydrotherapist and a doTERRA essential oil consultant, I still need to recruit clients to purchase my packages for colonics and essential oils for my doTERRA business. Otherwise I will go broke.

My family beginning to hate me a lot because I had to network or market all the time with my two businesses. I am losing a lot of gas and etc which I a happy in the long run. With my colon hydrotherapy business yes I shared to my family and friends almost like a MLM business because I'm all excited. Same thing with my essential oils. However, they hated.

My point is, you have to treat any business like a business even it is a MLM or not a MLM. Treat your clients or downlines with value is very important. If you don't it, this is when they are going to leave you with another company or another service.

      Continue...

Every business is not for everyone. You have to feel and think what are your goals or purposes for joining or starting a business. How are you going to look for people to be your clients or downlines? What kind of marketing expense?

It is all about product, service, and integrity. If you can't recruit or promote your products, then move on to the next person. A true business builder takes their time and must have passion. If they are recruiting people like crazy; however, not focusing on the product by telling why it is the best than the other products, then you are not getting anywhere.

I have friends who tried to recruit me into doing MarketAmerica, Melaluca, selling life insurance, selling cellphones, shaklee, and etc. They are all great companies and I don't see myself doing it, plus it does not connect with my holistic business. No I will not do coffee. Coffee is not for me and my energy tells me it will not benefit me as a business builder. However, I will support people who needs my support and ideas. Ony May 19, 2012 I was able to network my business to OG people. I was invited by a nephew because he wants me to observed the business.

My advice is listen to yourself or your guts. You like the money therefore you have no goals or don't know what to do, then don't do it. If you think you can prospect to strangers, it's a plus. When I said prospect to strangers, I mean finding people you don't know such as taking it with you to tradeshows, share with other MLM people, other small business owners, clinics, and etc. There are so many thing you can do to promote and educate the business, however a lot of expense and commitment. Once a client sign up as a wholesale member and purchase product on a monthly basis, later you can call them and ask if they want to be a business builder.

Last thing, beware for those who said you should purchase the expensive packages because it will benefit you. Again listen to your guts. If you can't afford the $1,300-2,000 package, then go to the $125-200 package. If they are pressuring you, just tell them upfront. They're just up selling you the most expensive package because that is where they get the most commissions. Don't let business people control you. One short story, last month, there was a Arbbone lady who was selling her facial stuff to me and telling me that her specials for today is $499.99, if I don't buy and plus the preferred customer is already included. In my head, geez, I like the product but the $$$ is too expensive. She was very pressuring and I told her the truth. "Sorry, I'm broke. I know you are going to hate me because my credit card is all maxed out, if it is under $50 or you let me pick what I want instead of buying your packages, then I can do that." I told her plus I don't want to be a business builder, if my sense or energy said no, then it's no. Oh well if she hates me, who cares. Just be honest to that person so they won't bother you.

      Sorry for the long story.

      Peace,

Even the disclaimer doesn't guarantee you make money in the business, so theres your first sign of proof that the business works. What about Jose Ardon, 4th grade education and first pair of shoes at the age of 8, now because of OG he has the ability to gladly earn over 5M each year, with COFFEE. Also he is contributing to his hometown Honduras by building over 400 homes for the poor.
